The Perry Sesquicentennial Celebration is expecting a large crowd of people on Friday, August 5th and Saturday, August 6th. Nearby streets may be crowded with vehicles parking along the roadways, so the Sesquicentennial committee has setup event parking at the Perry City Lake on Friday and Saturday with Shuttle service to downtown and Bill Trower Memorial Park. The shuttle service will run every 1/2 hour or as needed.
Beginning Thursday, August 4th, Park Street will be closed to traffic. Parking will be available by permit only for vendors and staff. Handicapped and UTV/Golf Cart parking will be available by entering Park street from Main Street on a first come/first serve basis. Handicapped vehicles must have a valid handicapped permit from the state they reside. Golf carts/utvs are not permitted outside of the designated parking area.
A designated unloading/loading location is available for passenger vehicles on N. Netherland street near the Bill Trower Memorial Park basketball court.
Parking along N. Netherland and Park streets will not be permitted.
